Secondary schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas are currently looking for qualified teachers to support on a day-to-day supply basis.

This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for flexibility, variety, and less pressure outside the classroom, while still doing what you enjoy.


As a supply teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons
  • Manage classroom behaviour
  • Adapt to different schools and year groups
  • Provide continuity for pupils
  • Focus purely on teaching — no planning required

This role is ideal for teachers who:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Are confident leading a classroom independently
  • Enjoy variety in their working week
  • Want to step away from full-time pressures
  • Are adaptable and proactive

Access to a car is helpful, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
