Teaching Personnel are seeking day-to-day Behaviour Support Assistants to work on an ADHOC basis in the Bridgend area.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils aged 3-19 years with additional learning needs, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour. Opportunities are available within local SEN schools, providing support on a 1:1, 1:2:1 and small group basis.
The Role
Support pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom.
Build positive relationships to help students engage with learning and social activities.
Implement behaviour support strategies and promote positive outcomes.
Assist with emotional regulation and communication needs.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible support.
Adapt to different school environments on a flexible, day-to-day basis.
What We Are Looking For
Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is desirable.
A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
Confidence supporting individuals with additional learning needs and challenging behaviour.
Ability to work flexibly across schools in the Bridgend area.
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in young people's lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
