The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are collaborating with an Academy in Portsmouth (PO1), offering a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join their team as a Curriculum Leader - Art and Design from September 2024.

About the Role:

As the Curriculum Leader - Art and Design, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the artistic journey of our students. Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing an engaging and effective Art curriculum that fosters creativity and growth.
  • Leading by example, developing, and motivating your team to achieve high standards.
  • Overseeing a vibrant and forward-thinking department, incorporating elements of Photography and Ceramics.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher of Art able to deliver to KS3 & KS4.
  • Passion for teaching and learning and transforming the life chances of students.
  • Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behavior.
