Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit new Cover Teachers to work on a supply basis across several schools in the Swansea area.

We are looking for somebody who has flexible availability – and can travel around the local area. As such, your own vehicle is required for this position. Likewise, we can be very flexible around you!

For this position, no teaching qualification is required, as your job will be to cover classes and ensure the work provided by the class teacher is completed and a good standard of behaviour is maintained. You will not be required to stay after the day finishes or complete any marking. All work will be provided so no preparation is required!

Cover Supervisor training will be provided for free through us, so no prior experience is necessarily required.

The ideal candidate will:

-          Have prior experience working in schools in the United Kingdom

-          Have their own mode of transport and a valid driving licence (required)

-          Have prior experience in a school or tutoring background, for example as a Teaching Assistant or tutor, teaching in a foreign language or teaching in a foreign country. (These are not required)

-          Have the necessary personal attributes to manage a classroom – patience being a key factor in how successful you will be in the role!

*Please note: All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check. If you are already on the DBS Update Service, we can use this. Additionally, all members of staff must be registered with the EWC. We can help get both of these in process for you!
