Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or education professional looking for your next opportunity in Dorchester?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Dorchester, supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing a classroom, enjoys working with young people and is looking to build further experience within a secondary school environment.
Supervising classes in the absence of the usual classroom teacher
Delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
Supporting students with their learning
Working alongside teaching staff and the wider school team
Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
A calm, approachable and professional manner
Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions
Reliable and adaptable approach to work
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial but not essential
