Salary: £95 - £125 per day
Smile Education are currently recruiting reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors across the Leicestershire area to support a range of secondary schools on a flexible, day-to-day supply basis.
This role is ideal for individuals who are looking for flexible work within schools, are happy to take bookings at short notice, and enjoy working in different school environments. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in ensuring lessons continue smoothly during teacher absences.
Location: Leicestershire & surrounding areas
Role Type: Flexible / day-to-day supply
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
Schools: A variety of secondary schools across the area
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with their work where required
- Adapting confidently to different schools and classroom settings
Who We’re Looking For:- Individuals based in or around the Leicestershire area or able to travel locally
- Candidates available for flexible day-to-day work
- Comfortable with morning bookings and short-notice calls
- Confident working with secondary school students
- Previous experience working with young people such as coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistant work, or cover supervision
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
