As a Cover Supervisor at our Manchester South Secondary branch, you will be responsible for overseeing classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Your main duties will include:

  • Supervising and managing the classroom environment
  • Delivering pre-prepared work to students
  • Ensuring students stay on task and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
  • Managing behaviour according to the school's policies
  • Reporting back on the behaviour and progress of students to the regular teacher

- Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field

- Prior experience of working in a similar role

- Experience of working within a UK Secondary School

- Confident within a classroom environment

- Teaching qualification or relevant further education

- Contract position with full-time hours

- Work location in Poynton, Cheshire

- Salary between £85 - £95 per day
