Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Waterlooville who are currently seeking a dedicated cover supervisor who is extremely hard working and reliable. The school are seeking a candidate for a full time role with the view to become permanent should they get on well.
As a cover supervisor you will play a vital part in the students education and the effectiveness of the school. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on students lives. The role requires you to cover lessons throughout key stages 3 & 4. You will be expected to cover pre planned classes throughout the school and manage to keep the students engaged and focused on the task in hand. A cover supervisor allows students not to fall behind in their classes when a regular teacher is absent and motivates them to stay on track.
Previous school experience can be beneficial although not necessary. The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual who is interested in gaining first hand experience in a classroom, can perform various duties depending on the class they teach and the subjects, is flexible and confident.
Cover supervisor role and responsibilities include:
- Managing students behaviour throughout lessons
- Show confidence when working with the students
- Hold good communication skills with students and staff
- Offer your full attention and help to students
Teaching Personnel offer continuous support throughout your employment with ourselves and all long term roles will be paid to your pay scale level.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
