As an Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning in our school.

We are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students continue to engage in meaningful learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across various subject areas, maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that learning objectives are met.
  • Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Support students in their learning and provide assistance as needed.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth operation of the school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a school setting is essential.
  • A degree in Education or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic development of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
