Position Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the learning process during teacher absences. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and engage students in pre-planned lessons across various subjects. This position offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth while making a significant impact on students' education and overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to students, fostering active engagement and learning.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and handle any behavioural issues in accordance with school policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and academic excellence.
  • Support and assist students with their learning needs, providing individual attention when required.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and school administrators to ensure effective communication and continuity in the learning process.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle different subject areas and classroom environments.
  • A passion for education, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
  • Right to work in the UK.
