Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Secondary Alternative Provision in the Burnley as they are looking to recruit a cover supervisor ASAP.

The pupils who attend this provision display signs of challenging behaviours therefore, having an understanding, resilient and calm approach to practise is essential.

  • Full time Cover Supervisor
  • Pay rate starts at £90+ (dependant on experience)
  • Previous experience working in a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential
  • Monday – Friday (8:30 – 3:30pm)

To be successful in this role it is important that you are able to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently to classrooms of students of the age range 11-16. As this is an Alternative Provision the children will display signs of challenging behaviour and disengagement, therefore, managing student behaviour in a calm manner is essential.
