We are recruiting a Classroom Supervisor to work with a range of Secondary schools in the Salford area area to support schools with absences and cover. 

Job Details:

  • Flexible Day-to-day work
  • up to £85 a day - paid weekly 
  • ASAP start date
  • Secondary schools located in Wigan and the surrounding areas

As a Classroom Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and teaching pupils when the main class teacher is off and absent from the class. You be given a lesson plan and be instructed to go to each lesson and ensure learning is continuing.

Duties may include:

  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Delivering a lesson plan that has been given to you
  • Ensuring all work is completed by the students
  • Covering a variety of lessons e.g.: English, Maths, Science, Art, IT, Performing Arts

To be suitable for this position you will need to be confident in working with young people aged (11-16 years) and have an interest to work within a school environment. You must also have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English. 

This role is ideal for graduates who are looking for part-time and full-time work experience in the secondary school setting. Here, they can gain the knowledge and confidence needed to work as a teacher in school, making it excellent preparation of teacher training routes. This work is as feklxible as needed with our aim being to find you work that fits around your schedule and availability.
