Cover Supervisor

We are recruiting a Classroom Supervisor to work with a range of Secondary schools in the Salford area area to support schools with absences and cover. 

Job Details:

• Flexible Day-to-day work
• up to £85 a day - paid weekly 
• ASAP start date
• Secondary schools located in Wigan and the surrounding areas

As a Classroom Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and teaching pupils when the main class teacher is off and absent from the class. You be given a lesson plan and be instructed to go to each lesson and ensure learning is continuing.

Duties may include:

• Managing classroom behaviour
• Delivering a lesson plan that has been given to you
• Ensuring all work is completed by the students
• Covering a variety of lessons e.g.: English, Maths, Science, Art, IT, Performing Arts

To be suitable for this position you will need to be confident in working with young people aged (11-16 years) and have an interest to work within a school environment. You must also have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English. 

This role is ideal for graduates who are looking for part-time and full-time work experience in the secondary school setting. Here, they can gain the knowledge and confidence needed to work as a teacher in school, making it excellent preparation of teacher training routes.
