Position Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning when regular classroom teachers are absent. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supervising Classes: Stepping in for absent teachers to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  2. Delivering Pre-Prepared Lessons: Facilitating student engagement by delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and activities.
  3. Supporting Students: Providing guidance and support to students who need extra assistance.
  4. Managing Behavior: Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Assisting with administrative duties related to cover supervision.

Requirements:

  • Be willing to get involved across all subjects.
  • Possess good behavior management skills.
  • Hold a child workforce DBS on the update service (if not already obtained, we can assist you with the application).
