Position: Cover Supervisor (Permanent)
Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our highly effective teaching team as a Cover Supervisor. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to provide essential educational support for colleagues when they are absent.
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the ethos, values, and expectations of the academy. Your responsibilities will include supervising students in the absence of a teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Additionally, you will utilize various aspects of Microsoft Office to support your daily tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of a teacher, ensuring they remain on task and engaged in learning activities.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, adhering to the academy's ethos and values.
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and resources provided by absent teachers.
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote a culture of respect and cooperation among students.
- Utilise Microsoft Office tools effectively to support administrative tasks and communication within the academy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting student learning and development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
