1:1 Tutors Needed in Calverton (NG14) for Children in Care

TP Tutors, a division of Teaching Personnel, works with local authorities to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children in care in the Calverton (NG14) area. Our goal is to bridge learning gaps and empower children to reach their full potential.

With an increase in tuition requests, especially for GCSE and Functional Skills preparation, we seek specialists in core subjects. We also support KS1 and KS2 pupils, welcoming applicants from diverse educational backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
  • Design individualised learning programmes
  • Conduct tutoring sessions in students' homes
  • Customise teaching approaches to accommodate each child's unique learning pace

Requirements:

  • QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching certification
  • Enthusiasm and patience
  • Experience with primary or secondary pupils
  • SEN experience is desirable
  • Flexibility and adaptability for inclusive education
