Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Computing Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital innovators? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in NN4, Northampton, on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and enthusiasm for computing with students, helping them to develop essential skills for the digital age.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computing lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Teach a range of topics within the computing curriculum, including programming, computer science, and digital literacy.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to succeed.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Computing or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching computing subjects at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages, software applications, and digital technologies.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to inspiring students to pursue careers in computing and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and the school community.
