Computer Science Teacher

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving school based in north Manchester. WE are currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join this friendly secondary school from September 2024.
 
We are currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join this welcoming team from September 2024 until the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be completing all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. You will be teaching across school up to KS4 level, including GCSE preparation and revision.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and vibrant secondary school setting. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Hindley, Ince-in-Makerfield, and Wigan town centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-210 per day, depending on experience.
 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status and should be confident in Teaching Computer Science up to KS4. Applicants will benefit from completing a trial day ahead of starting employment, allowing you to get to know the school and staff before commencing employment.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident in teaching English up to KS4, including GCSE preparation and revision
