A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Reading is seeking a committed Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, caring, and passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of pupils with additional needs.

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, including PMLD, ASD, physical disabilities, communication difficulties, sensory needs, and medical needs.

The successful Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will work closely with experienced Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and specialist support staff to ensure every pupil receives the individual care and support they need.

This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs
• Supporting pupils with learning, communication, and sensory activities
• Assisting with personalised learning plans and classroom activities
• Helping pupils develop independence and essential life skills
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role would suit someone with previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, although the school would also welcome applications from compassionate and motivated individuals looking to gain valuable experience within specialist education.
