Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people with additional needs? Do you bring patience, confidence, and compassion into everything you do?

We are working alongside an innovative alternative provision unit in the Llandeilo area to recruit a dedicated Complex Needs Support Officer. This role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to young people aged 11-19, all of whom are on the autistic spectrum, with some learners presenting severe or profound learning difficulties.

This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for someone who believes in inclusion, consistency, and seeing beyond barriers-supporting learners not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.

This specialist, purpose-built centre has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of children and young people with autism. The setting is calm, structured, and highly supportive, enabling learners to feel safe, understood, and empowered.

Facilities include:

  • A fully equipped sensory room
  • A purpose-built life skills flat to support transition into adulthood
  • Outdoor learning areas, including a bike track and specialist play park
  • Small class sizes with a collaborative and highly supportive staff team

The provision prioritises wellbeing, emotional regulation, and individual progress-celebrating success in all its forms.

As a Complex Needs Support Officer, you'll be a vital part of the day-to-day support structure, working closely with teaching staff to provide consistency, reassurance, and tailored encouragement throughout the school day.
