The Role - Education and Training
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with complex and diverse needs
- Support learners across SEMH, SEN, PMLD, and SLD, adapting approaches to suit individual abilities
- Use nurture-based, sensory, and communication-focused strategies
- Implement trauma-informed and attachment-aware practices
- Plan and deliver personalised learning in line with EHCP outcomes
- Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and external professionals
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive

About You - SEN Class Teacher (Ware)
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or QTLS (desirable), or has strong experience in specialist settings
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEN, PMLD, SLD, or complex needs
- Demonstrates resilience, patience, and adaptability
- Is confident in using differentiated, sensory, and communication-based approaches
- Builds positive, consistent, and restorative relationships with pupils
- Can commute to Ware
- Is passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
