Child Practitioner – SEND School | Brighton & Hove
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEND school in the Brighton & Hove area, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
The school are looking for a Child Practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and is committed to helping them thrive both academically and personally.
As a Child Practitioner, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis, providing tailored support throughout the school day. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and communication skills while creating a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be:

Confident in building positive relationships with pupils
A strong and positive role model
Proactive and able to use their own initiative
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
Experienced in working with children or young people with PMLD
Able to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff
Location: Brighton & Hove
Pay: £360–£460 per week
Availability: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Contract: Temp to Perm
Experience: PMLD experience required
DBS: Enhanced Child-Only DBS required
Travel: Accessible by bus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
