Child Buddy – SEND School | Brighton & Hove 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEND school in the Brighton & Hove area, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The school is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and caring Child Buddy to join their team and make a genuine difference to the lives of their pupils.

As a Child Buddy, you will work closely with pupils on either a 1:1 or small-group basis, providing encouragement, support and positive role modelling throughout the school day.

You will be someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, patient and compassionate

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils

  • Is proactive and able to use your initiative

  • Is a strong and positive role model

  • Has experience working with children or young people with PMLD

  • Is committed to supporting pupils' individual needs and development

Location: Brighton & Hove
Salary: £360–£460 per week
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Contract: Temp to Perm
Experience: PMLD experience required
DBS: Enhanced Child-Only DBS required
Travel: Easily accessible by bus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
