  • Care or support background required.
  • No school experience needed.
  • Ability to travel to and from Chorley and Leyland.
  • Supporting students with additional needs such as, SEMH, SEN, ASC, ADHD
  • Competitive hourly rate of pay £13.00 - £15.25 p/h.
  • Multiple full-time roles available, Monday to Friday (8.30am-3.30pm).
  • Varied start dates (ASAP).

The roles

Your role will consist of providing high quality care to support the pupils both educationally and holistically. Some pupils may require personal care, so your role will include supporting individuals with this, as well as possible challenging behaviours and being able to deal with these behaviours in a calm and professional manner. Supporting the pupils throughout their time with you, following their EHC plans and adhering to their individual needs is paramount in your role, this requires you to have a pupil centred approach as their wellbeing is always priority.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
