Are you a qualified CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in the classroom?

Teaching Personnel is working with a range of primary schools, SEN provisions and specialist educational settings across Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Islington that are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This specialist CPD equips educators with practical, relationship-based strategies to support all learners, particularly those with SEND and additional needs. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the classroom
  • Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and Speech and Language needs
  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom preparation
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional and educational development
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • CACHE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a school setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, proactive and nurturing approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for education and child development
