Academics, an established education agency, are acting as an agency to recruit a CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse for temporary ongoing work across a variety of welcoming early years settings and schools throughout Rotherham.

This CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse role would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children's development and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment. There may also be potential for temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate, depending on the setting.

Position: CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Location: Rotherham
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Pay: £14.24 - £16 per hour (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a suitable start date

About the Role

As a CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them develop their confidence, independence and key learning skills. You could work across a range of Rotherham schools and early years settings, gaining experience with different age groups and learning environments.

The CACHE Level 3 Nursery Nurse will work alongside teachers and other early years professionals to provide engaging activities, encourage positive behaviour and support children's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Create a safe, positive and nurturing environment
• Assist with EYFS learning and development
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development
• Work effectively alongside teachers and early years staff

Candidate Requirements

• CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or a relevant equivalent
• Previous experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
