Your role is to turn that into clear, structured answers.

As a Secondary Business Studies Teacher, you will teach KS4 students how to apply knowledge, structure responses, and understand real-world business concepts.

Key responsibilities
Teach GCSE Business Studies
Explain key topics such as finance, marketing, and operations
Develop structured written responses
Support coursework and exam preparation
Use real-world examples in lessons
Track student progress
Maintain focused classroom routines

The classroom environment
Lessons are structured and purposeful
Students understand expectations
Behaviour is consistent and calm
Learning builds over time

Skills and experience
Experience teaching Business or related subjects
Strong explanation skills
Organisation and classroom management
Understanding of GCSE requirements

What success looks like
Students develop stronger written responses
Confidence improves before exams
Clear understanding of concepts

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with business or finance backgrounds
