We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within an Alternative Provision Base attached to a secondary school. This rewarding role involves supporting students who may display challenging behaviour, have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, or require additional support to engage positively with education.

The Alternative Provision Base provides a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment where students can continue their learning while developing emotional regulation, confidence, and positive relationships.

  • Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Can build positive relationships and act as a role model for students
  • Are passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
  • Work well as part of a team and can adapt to different situations

Experience in schools, youth work, care work, sports coaching, mentoring, or support work is highly desirable.
