Learning Support Assistant – SEMH Provision – September Start

We are delighted to be supporting a specialist SEMH provision and PRU in recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a September start.

The school caters for pupils from Years 1–11 and is dedicated to providing high-quality education and pastoral support for children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom, encouraging engagement, confidence and independence.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Be patient, resilient and adaptable.
  • Have experience working with children or young people (education experience is desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
