A fantastic Secondary SEN School in Abingdon is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Behaviour Support Worker to join their team. This role would suit graduates, aspiring teachers, those with experience working with young people, or anyone looking to build a career in education, behaviour support, and SEN.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to students who may present with challenging or complex behaviour.
Support small groups with activities in and outside the classroom.
* Work alongside teachers and SEN professionals to implement individual support plans.
* Support students with their learning, behaviour, emotional development, and wellbeing.
* Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and independence.
* Monitor, record, and report student progress and behaviour.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with students and act as a consistent role model.
