Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident, resilient and experienced Behaviour Specialist to join a specialist SEMH school in Wallington, London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and who can build positive relationships while maintaining clear, consistent boundaries.

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils manage their behaviour, develop emotional regulation and engage positively with their education.

As a Behaviour Specialist, you will work closely with pupils, teachers and the wider pastoral team to provide consistent support throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with challenging and complex behaviours

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour

  • Implementing individual behaviour strategies and support plans

  • De-escalating challenging situations calmly and effectively

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required

  • Encouraging pupils to engage positively with learning
