Behaviour Support Assistant - Reading

A Secondary SEN School in Reading is seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, or Teachers.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural and additional needs.
- Help students develop emotional regulation, confidence, independence, and positive coping strategies.
- Support students who may experience challenging behaviour, anxiety, emotional difficulties, or difficulties with self-regulation.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and provide consistent encouragement and reassurance.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to promote a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
