A Secondary SEN School in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for graduates and aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, Counsellors, or Teachers.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Help students develop positive coping strategies, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence.
• Support students to manage challenging behaviours and engage positively with their learning.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider support team to create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and monitor students' behaviour, wellbeing, engagement, and progress throughout the school day.

We're looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant who is:

• Patient, compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
• Genuinely interested in understanding behaviour and supporting students with additional needs.
• A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
