Behaviour Support Assistant – Full Time – Wigan – September 2026 Start

A primary school in Wigan is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils who require additional behavioural support.

This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to pupils’ school experience.

The role involves:

• Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Implementing behaviour management strategies
• Working 1:1 or with small groups
• Supporting classroom routines and transitions
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

We are looking for:

• Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or similar
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships
