Are you passionate about supporting children to overcome barriers to learning? A welcoming primary school in Warrington is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team from October.

This role involves working closely with pupils who may present with behavioural or emotional needs, helping them to engage positively with their education. You will provide consistent support both in and out of the classroom, implementing behaviour strategies and building strong, trusting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural challenges on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Assisting the class teacher with tailored behaviour plans
  • Helping to create a calm, structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, resilient and patient approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
