Behaviour Mentor – (SEND Provision)
Location: Bridgend
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM - no weekends!
Contract Type: Full-time and part-time available
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our specialist provision supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The provision is a maintained special school located in Bridgend. It serves pupils ranging from ages of 5-19 with a wide range of additional needs, including social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD), autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This role will be to support pupils in Key Stage 3 who display behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties, enabling them to engage positively with learning, follow school expectations, and develop self-regulation skills. A Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SEN support to help pupils succeed academically and socially.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
