Behaviour and learning mentors needed to support secondary school students in the South Manchester area. We have positions in the areas of Moss Side, Chorlton and Wythenshawe starting in the summer term and for September 2024.

If you are working in a youth worker, sports coaching or prison profession and feel you have the transferable skills to transition into a secondary school setting we welcome your application. Within this role you will be given the opportunity to mentor students across the ages of 11-16 ensuring that they are remaining in mainstream education. You will be working with vulnerable students who are at risk of exclusion and need a learning support assistant to nurture and guide them throughout their school education.

We have positons that are part time, full time temporary and permanent. As a behaviour mentor you will need to have a fully enhanced DBS certificate and employment references. You will receive on the job training from your placement school as well as having access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD academy.
