  • Supporting students with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with behavioural difficulties
  • Monitoring and recording student behaviour and progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student behaviour
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties

  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Relevant certification in behaviour management or special education
  • First aid certification

This role involves working in a classroom environment, providing support to students with challenging behaviour. The work may be demanding at times, requiring patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The role may also involve liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
