Your Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students experiencing behavioural, emotional, or social challenges.
• Help students manage their emotions, develop self-regulation skills, and make positive choices.
• Build trusting relationships that encourage engagement, confidence, and personal growth.
• Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement effective behaviour support strategies.

What We're Looking For

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.
• A genuine interest in understanding behaviour and supporting young people.
• Previous experience in SEN, education, or behaviour support is beneficial but not essential.

Job Details

• Location: Reading
• Setting: SEN School
• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-3:30 pm
• Contract: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP
