A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Reading is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis. This long-term opportunity is ideal for individuals wanting to build experience in behaviour support, youth work, or mental health.

The school supports pupils aged 5-16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour strategies and helping students build emotional resilience.

Key Details:

• Role: Behaviour Mentor
• Location: Reading
• Salary: £90-£105 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Ideal for: Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Education, or those considering careers in youth justice, teaching, or therapy

Behaviour Mentor responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 mentoring and targeted behavioural interventions
• Supporting students in managing emotions and making positive choices
• Implementing consistent behaviour management strategies
• Assisting teachers in maintaining a structured and supportive classroom
• Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult
