Location: East Bristol

Start Date: September 

Role: Full Time (Monday - Friday, term time only)


We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour and Academic Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive school in the East Bristol area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting both their behavioural development and academic progress.


Role Description

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural and learning needs
  • Help students develop positive behaviours and engagement in the classroom
  • Support teaching staff in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and progress
  • Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing
  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
  • Passion for supporting students with additional needs (SEN/SEMH experience beneficial)
  • A proactive and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
