Are you a Psychology graduate passionate about supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional needs?

A specialist school in Windsor is seeking a dedicated, caring, and patient ASD Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, or Teachers.

As an ASD Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASD and additional needs.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
  • Support students with emotional regulation and help them manage anxiety or sensory challenges.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students, providing consistent reassurance and encouragement.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating positively in school life.

We're looking for an ASD Assistant who is:

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic.
  • Calm and confident when supporting young people with additional needs.
  • A strong communicator with a genuine passion for working with children and young people.
  • Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, therapy, or SEN.
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.
