Salary: (M1-U3) £34,398 – £56,154

About the Role
We are seeking a creative, passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team from September 2026. This role is suitable for an Overseas Trained Teacher (OTT) or a qualified teacher seeking part-time work, with flexibility available for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence in visual expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Inspire creativity and encourage experimentation with a range of artistic techniques and media
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
• Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and enrichment opportunities
• Maintain a safe, engaging and well-resourced learning environment
• Support students’ academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or Overseas Trained Teacher (OTT)
• Have strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
• Be creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring young people
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
