• Plan and deliver engaging art and design lessons to students
• Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress
• Prepare students for GCSE level examinations
• Participate in departmental meetings and school events

• PGCE, PGDE, QTS or QTLS
• Teach First qualification

Bachelor's degree in Art or Design related field

Previous experience teaching art and design to GCSE level students

• Strong behaviour management skills
• Passion for art and design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Master's degree in Art Education
• Additional training in special education or inclusive teaching practises

• Full-time contract position
• Standard school hours with occasional evening or weekend events
• Collaborative work environment within the school
