This is a truly rewarding opportunity to work in a separate, calm environment designed specifically for pupils aged 11–16 with Autism and Anxiety needs, away from the busy mainstream setting. The team is friendly, supportive, and passionate about helping every learner thrive.

The Role

  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
  • Writing daily progress notes and sharing updates with the team
  • Collaborating regularly with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent support

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds. You might have experience in:

  • Mental health, counselling, psychology, coaching, or care work
  • Supporting individuals with Autism, Anxiety, or learning difficulties
  • Tutoring or academic support, particularly in literacy and numeracy

Experience can be professional or personal—what matters most is your empathy, resilience, and genuine desire to support young people.

You’ll also need to be:

  • Confident supporting core subjects (literacy & numeracy)
  • Comfortable with written reporting and communication
  • A strong team player with a positive, calm approach

What’s on Offer

  • A welcoming, close-knit team who will support you every step of the way
  • On-the-job training and ongoing guidance
  • A peaceful, specialist setting designed for success
  • The chance to build a long-term, meaningful connection with a learner
