Additional Learning Needs Role (Autism, ADHD and SEMH)

Full Time, 32.5 hrs.

Pay from £420/week.

 

Our partner school in North Cardiff are looking for a new Teaching Assistant to support within their large, thriving ASD Base.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to work with several of their pupils, supporting predominantly in the KS3 (11-14) classes. Pupils within the base benefit from an experienced team of TAs and teachers, working with pupils to learn and grow in the best way for them. Adapted lessons, individual learning plans and a wide range of outdoor, sports, kitchen and creatives-based facilities are used by staff within the provision to ensure that learners have the support that they need to flourish in a positive and encouraging setting.

 

Key Requirements:

-          Min. 3 months experience working with young people, or within an Additional Needs setting (highly desirable).

-          Enhanced Child Only DBS

-          Registration with the EWC as a Learning Support Worker

 

Role Details:

-          Full Time Role

-          View to take on a permanent contract upon completion of a successful trial period.

-          KS3 ALN Support

-          Starting May 2024 (or ASAP)

-          Interviews for this role commencing in the next 2 weeks.
