Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual looking for a rewarding role supporting children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)?

We are currently recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to join a SEN School in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils of different ages and abilities in a single, welcoming school environment, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

You will provide valuable classroom support for pupils with additional learning needs. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support across primary or secondary age groups
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create an inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, ALNCO/SENCO, and support staff to meet individual pupil needs
  • Adapting confidently to classroom routines and school expectations

We also offer a free 2-hour Cover Supervisor training course. Once completed, you will be able to work as a Cover Supervisor, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. This is a great way to expand your experience and increase your earning potential.
