Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School Setting)
Location: Cambridge
Hours: School hours (typically 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, flexible)
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across the Cambridge area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition either in a pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours.

You will be working with students who may have gaps in learning, special educational needs (SEN), or require additional support to re-engage with education. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a young person's academic progress and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored and engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs
  • Support pupils in core subjects such as English and Maths
  • Build strong, positive relationships with learners
  • Track progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs
  • Teaching qualification or relevant degree
  • Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
