At TP Tutors, we present an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children in Selston through behavioral support. We are seeking dedicated one-to-one tutors to aid children and young people in managing their behaviors and de-escalating challenging situations.

This tutor role entails:

• Crafting, delivering, and adapting engaging sessions tailored to each child's requirements, nurturing their understanding in core subjects.
• Collaborating with children facing potential behavioral challenges, employing diverse strategies to ensure their individual needs are addressed.
• Monitoring progress and strategizing future learning objectives.
• Inspiring children to excel and maintaining their involvement to ensure effective learning access.

These tutoring opportunities are situated in the Nottinghamshire area, particularly Selston (NG16), conveniently accessible by car or public transport with connections to neighboring towns. What we seek in a tutor:

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Proficiency in planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to learners' needs.
• Capability to develop effective behavior management strategies and coping mechanisms.
• Application of skills to bolster children's confidence in their learning journey.
• Ability to monitor progress and strategize learning pathways toward their educational objectives. While SEN experience is desirable, it is not mandatory.

Successful applicants must provide evidence of these skills and experiences.

Please note that all applicants will undergo background checks and must possess a current DBS certificate (registered with the update service). Teaching Personnel is available to support your application process if needed.

Working hours typically span Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for additional responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
