1:1 Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education are working with a primary school in Margate, who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
This is a full-time position which run until the end of the academic year, with a view of going permanent for the right candidates.
The role:
•To work 1:1 with a pupil with ASC in Year 5
•Differentiate the work set by the class teacher as the pupil is working at a KS1 level
•Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
•Liaise with school SENCO and class Teacher
It is essential that you have:
•Previous experience supporting children with SEN
•A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
