1-1 Teaching Assistant - Primary New

Location: North Somerset

Hours: Full time, 5 days per week

We are partnering with a welcoming mainstream primary school in North Somerset who are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a pupil with additional needs. This is a long term position beginning in September, working closely with the child to support their learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference to a child's education. The school has a supportive SEND team and is committed to providing an inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

Key details:

•Role: 1-1 Teaching Assistant
•Days: Full time, 5 days per week
•Pay: starting from £92.26 per day (depending on experience)
•Duration: Long term, starting September

Person specification:

•Experience working with children with additional needs, either in a school or care setting
•A calm, patient and adaptable approach
•Understanding of SEND and the ability to follow individual support plans
•Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with the pupil, teachers, parents and colleagues
•A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Education or a related field is desirable but not essential
